This is a photo diary of artist Paul Neale. It consists of an ongoing series of images based on his current concerns of image manipulation, the importance of line, the state of the world as seen through the media, advertising images as well as aspects of street photography.

I have often been needlessly in two minds about what a photograph actually is, and what a picture is. It is even more confusing when the same tools are used in the production of both modes. The following images illustrate my point. The still life image with radio and lips I consider to be more of a photograph, the appropriated and the manipulated Tatler cover I think of as more in the picture category.
